A lot of bullion websites accept crypto. If you're way in the green on it, take 10% out and put it into metals. Spend around 2k on a 1 ounce .999 gold coin and spend about 2k on a couple kilos of silver and a few one ounce rounds or coins you'd like to have on hand. If you want to spend the extra 3k, Platinum coins are around 1k for an ounce. With the other 2k you're planning to spend on gold, get another coin or spend it on fractional coins like francs or sovereigns. More silver is always an option too. If you want to further diversify into metals, lead, brass, and steel are fantastic options. 3k is enough to get you a handgun, a rifle, and some ammo.

the theoretical peak is infinity dollars per ounce, but it will not reach that. Dollars will cease to be used and silver and gold will shine on.

Lizards are my favorite government bullion. Nice gold stack!

Beautiful rounds.
Precious metal FUD will never cease to amuse me. PMs aren't crypto. They will never be worth nothing. They are elements created in supernova explosions from dying stars. During the billions years long life spans of stars, elements are fused into increasingly more complex structures by the force of gravity in the star's core. Iron, the 26th element, is the final fusion in a living star's core. If the star is large enough it will catastrophically explode when it tries to fuse iron and create higher elements. Silver is the 47th element, Gold is the 79th, and Platinum is the 78th.
After floating around for millions of years, the debris from the dead star coallesces into a new star and planets. Some of it eventually became Earth and billions of later, some hairless apes dig it up and refine it into pure bars. These bars then are shipped to a warehouse and traded to mints, who then divide the bars into smaller retail products and ship them wholesale and retail. The entire process from creation to being a little work of art in my hand is pretty incredibile. I respect the labor that went into the mining, refinement, shipping, minting, and retail sale of my coins and bars.
