Oil & copper stocks have been crossing intermittently into my buy points. I feel like falling earnings isn't priced into a lot of stocks yet though. Also no way the fed pivots as early as people think.

you're saying if the fed says they will CONTINUE hiking rates despite a recession... that this will make MORE people want to lock in negative real rates for 20yrs?? I'd think you'd actually want the inverse ETF if JPow says doompeet.

But that's the thing right, it's entirely dependent on the gov and if they think too many people are shorting, they can fuck those people over too. By the way, the interest payments on a debt probably set an upper bound on yields so gains with an inverse ETF would be limited. Basically betting on bonds in any way shape or form just seems like a shitshow right now.
