Save like 3k for a TQQQ leap when it corrects somewhere down the line.

The client is requesting data from a server hosted by CS as of Saturday's update, presumably for the upcoming merger. That's all the update did.
CS's servers are shitting the bed from the traffic TOS generates.
I'm abandoning ship as soon as my account with Tastyworks gets approved, I'll just use TOS for charting. My balance is at the point where capped commissions per leg is actually really appealing now.

The TIPs are bond ETFs, an asset that tends to compete with metals in the space of wealth preservation.
If the variables that are scaring people into those types of assets (preservation rather than growth) are still a factor, then the demise of one will lead to the rise of the other. Historically 10y bonds were the 'gold-standard' of wealth preservation, but right now their true yield is negative due to inflation despite having a positive nominal yield which is spurring the long term rise of metals.
If both bonds and metals are crashing at the same time, that typically indicates that people are no longer scared and lower prices will remain for long periods of time. If one is rising and the other is falling then people are still scared and the chance of a dip reversing is substantially higher.
If interest rates rise that could potentially reverse the trend of metals, but rising interest rates would most certainly crash the entire economy due to how over-leveraged everything is currently.

I know that, if there is nothing around to take advantage of the paper dip then I'll just pay.
It doesn't hurt to ask though.

Has there been any substantial news about upcoming stimulus payments? Any bills going through congress, etc?
