In case it's not clear, those are banana plugs, you put them at the end of speaker cable and plug and lock them into your speaker and amp.
The amp is gold plated where it counts.

I should add, if you really want to invest in gold, but you don't want physical gold, buy some gold ETF. It's probably more secure and they don't make false promises.
But for me it's real ownership.
