Guys, is making money on bitmex this fucking easy?
So far am only using the testing site to see what the fuss is all about while making imaginary trades using the real site's charts.
All I do is:
>look at the MACD to see i the trend is going up or down
>if its an uptrend, check the bollinger band to see if it crosses the lower band
>if it does I long and wait until the trend reverses to sell
>if its a downtrend I wait till the candles cross the upper band and I short and wait till the reverse happens to buy again
>rinse and repeat

If I did this at 50x while only using my "gambling fund" I would have made 1 BTC already.

JESUS CHRIST IS MAKING MONOPOLY MONEY THIS EASY?

Hey /bizwiz/, I need your opinion on something

So am a bioengi foreigner who's looking for an internship program in the US (or the mystical bonglands, whichever accepts me).
There is a hefty investment for a 2poor dude like me, since I will be renting on my own and the ticket itself costs a fuckton in my currency.

I know that having an internship abroad is noice bonus for any CV, but I want to do this mainly because I want (ie: need) to get a good job in one of these countries and run away from my shit hole.

Have you ever employed/heard of an intern who managed to show a great deal of competence/good will/aptitude in what he was doing?

I could invest the little money I have in a small business in here and live with a decent income, or I could gamble it all in this internship.
What do you people think?

>have idea for a business
>talk about idea with a friend
>turns out her uncle works in the ministry of industry and is basically in charge of finding funds for startups
>she gives me his number
>I call him
>spaghetti
>he calls her later
>"that guy you sent me, is he 12? He should man up or he will never get anywhere"

f-fuck, I know am a huge introvert but I guess this is gonna be my bane...

Anyway, anyone else who managed to overcome their awkwardness? any tips?

how do you determine who is correct in terms of economics? Both liberals and conservatives are saying very different things, writing books, citing studies. How do you know which to chose?

Any ideas of what kind of low investment companies a biologist or a bioengineer can start? Am thinking of a mushroom farm, but idk if the competition is loose enough for me to slip in and start growing.
Any other bio bros around?

Is it best to go into engineering or finance if I can't get into a prestigious New England school?

Do you guys have experience dealing with asians?

North africa here, my startup will be doing exports and I don't want to work with europe for several reasons
>fucking frenchies and italians, everyone from my country is working with them
>europe's economy is doing badly lately
>not many in my country work with gooks or indians, I might land some interesting deals

I heard though that dealing with the japs is hell at first, they are paranoid and they shower you with questions and stuff. Though it eventually becomes an advantage since they are so conservative, contracts with them are garanteed to last years.

Any more insight?

Hello, /biz/
Let me ask you a metaphysical question, here. What are the fundamentals behind a good entrepreneur?
Being a strongly introverted INTP (inb4: kek, mbti faggotry), I always wanted to be my own boss and to own a small company selling whatever it is I wanted to trade. Yet my introversion kept pulling me back.
Am studying for an engineering degree right now and it's nearly painful when others, especially extroverts, manage to piece bits of info together and pull interesting ideas and plans for projects, yet I always fail to do so. Ironically I am better when it comes to finding flaws and, generally, shitting on the project and pointing out where it will inevitably fail.

Regardless, for a year now av been trying to work on my extroversion and building a decent contact list, and though I am noticing a significant improvement, am still way behind when it comes to "coming up with business ideas".
I know changing the way your brain worked for years will be tough work, but I know that sitting on my ass won't help. Which brings me to this thread.

Still, I am mostly talking here about the extraversion skill of an entrepreneur, which affects me most, but there is a lot more to it, and I hope that we will have a decent conversation here.
