Hey, Pan-chad. I'm the new guy who's been lurking, asking questions and trying to get into investing and pm's these past few threads. I happen to be Finnish so if you need me to translate anything or to look for stuff from Finnish websites, I'd be happy to do so.

On the topic of Finnish mining, there is Sotkamo Silver (SOSI1) that has already started production and that has some promising estimates (I think? Pic related, correct me if I'm wrong) and exploration potential of 20-40Mt's (Ag 40-80 g/t, Au 0,1-0,3 g/t, Pb 0,15-0,3% and Zn 0,3-0,7%). Mining is done in the underground mine predominantly but a small open pit is planned too.The mineral deposit was found in 1980 and Kajaani Oy + Outokumpu Oy invested 60 million SEK into researching the deposit but the project was put down due to low metal prices in 1991. 2007 Sotkamo's claim for previously presented claims over the silver mine deposit were issued. So it took 40 years until actual production started in 2019, meaning the mineral deposit hasn't been mined much at all yet.

There's also the Norwegian market listed Nordic Mining ASA (NOM) which holds 16,3% of private Finnish company Keliber Oy's stock (Keliber has lithium deposits in Kaustinen an Kokkola municipalities, they are able to produce high-purity lithium that has increased industrial demand in the form of the increasing need for rechargeable batteries). They also have a definite feasibility study ongoing in their Engebø project which would produce high-grade Rutile & Garnet. They estimate that mining could go on for about 40 years and promises stable cash flow and favorable conditions. They're also planning to pioneer in the subsea minerals industry. They made the global first qualitative resource assessment of seabed minerals in a joint research cooperation project in 2012, so that's an entirely new industrial field to look forward to in the long term I guess.
