Hi /biz/, sorry to bother you, I'm just curious and merely looking for answers. Also completely unaware of what's surrounding cryptocurrencies. I've been mainly using Brave Browser on Android since June 2017 and so far so good, not as slow as Firefox and seems reliably fine privacy wise. I wish we could use UBlock Origin or have an about:config customability but I won't complain.
I'm aware that the browser is associated with a coin/token named BAT and that's it's supposedly rewards advertisers. How exactly is this done? Because since I've started using Brave I never saw, not even once, one of the so called self manufactured ads made by Brave. I have other adblockers like Adaway and Adguard installed on my phone so that may be the reason. If a BATholder would we willing to take the time to explain this to me I'd appreciate it.
