No I'm not an encyclopedia however like I pointed out there is something for readability and contracts that only functional programming can offer, if it isn't Haskell then I don't know the shape of functional programming in the future. Xlm likely will create libraries to interact with the contract layer, (considering how hyperledger approached ledgers, relation: IBM). My Korean friend from IRC said NEO is a bitch to work with too but I've never looked into it.

As a developer and someone who worries about working with other people's money, ADA is the biggest potential, only with Ethereum second because of first movers and also if they somehow did a 360° and changed, but that's the real gamble.
