vitalik sold the vast of his ETH @ 170. ever since he's been low-key fudding the price, and definitely does NOT want it to increase until he has bought back in.

ETH also has 15% annual inflation (bitcoin <3%). it's not gonna change until vitalik has re-accumulated.

it's also possible he just gets bored with crypto and actually leaves. eth will fall 80% instantly then. so the fundamentals aren't so great, and there are also significant risks involved due to it being so dependent on 1 person whose intentions aren't clear.
