What is "start of the trading day" for you?

So you're basically a range breakout trader I presume? I did that for a while in demo, but I found fighting everyday, every hour for 10-20pips a massive drain and inefficient for my tastes.

Since then I moved to swing trading, doing the odd 10-20pip trade here and there. Pic related at >>285462
, when I first started swinging, made more pips in about 24hrs than I did in two weeks playing the 10-20pip game. But after those trades it all went to shit lel. You live you learn. More practice!

Hi /biz/, I finally have a job with real benefits including a 3% matched 401k. Is there anything I should know in particular? I have never been good at choosing good investments, but I can choose from a preassembled package with varying levels of risk, or craft my own (I assume this is pretty standard for 401k.) How balls to the wall should I go at this point in the game? Max risk? A more conservative mix? Which options are best, which should I look out for or eliminate from the equation?

The only thing I really know is that I should never take anything out of it, and I should invest at least 3% since it's basically free money. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just pointing me to some required reading.

I'm in 10th grade and go to a trade school for business. I need to look into colleges and shit, but have no idea what to look for degree wise. I like investing, and I like markets so those are some things I would like to work with. What degrees should I look for if I want to work in investing, kind of like an investment banker. IDK i just need some help. Thanks anons
