>fake reichsmarks some of the pmg tards are ordering on ebay

Yeah I've seen lots of super sus RMs posted here. I first learned about fakes when I was 8 and a dealer was showing some chinese counterfeit 1883 Hawaiian silver coins, then next year my grandpa who just came back from vacationing in china gave me some coins he bought there which were all immediately obvious cast and crudely plated fakes. I've been disgusted by chinks ever since, they are an absolute plague.

Sounds like a good deal for a nice 5RM these days, the toning looks pretty cool too.

>where can you even get 2 reichsmarks that isnt ebay?

Find a based LCS that sells 2 and 5 RMs at scrap price, retail prices are just silly now.

>i think i'm just going to get this one instead of buying the graded version.

Paying extra for graded/slabbed coins is gay, if I were in the market I'd get the loose one too.

Onzas seem to hold or gain value well, definitely a good choice if you're not paying crAPMEX prices. I asked him and unfortunately they only had 1 1949 onza. Several months ago he got some 1978 and 79 onzas for melt price at that shop. They move tons of stock so good deals come from valuable stuff being overlooked and sold cheap and from all the worn/rim dinged US and nice foreign "junk" silver they put in the scrap bin and sell at spot by weight. I know a few anons have a based LCS with nice cull/scrap bins they buy decent stuff at spot price from but this shop is pretty special. These Germans for example dad got at spot price and put them in my stocking over Christmas. They move so much stuff they don't care about squeezing the extra premium out of everything.

Dad put 18 silver marks (at-spot LCS scrap bin cheapies, only 1 big windmill) in my Christmas stocking. The 3 mark is from Wuerttemberg. I enjoy the pre-WW1 silbers, I'm sure collecting issues from the different German states keeps many autists happily occupied.
