Normies always whine that entry level positions require a ton of experience. I'm a Senior in Accounting and I've been job searching and I've yet to come across this on Indeed.com. If anything, they require 3-12 months related experience (but not required), which is acceptable. You can easily acquire a part-time job or complete an internship.

Are they just making shit up to justify how pathetic they are? I can't think of any employable major where an entry level position that required experience would be impossible to achieve. Accounting/Finance? Get a part time job at a bank or insurance agency. Computer Science? Develop your own mobile app/software, contribute to GitHub, get some certifications, internships, etc. Nursing? Be a CNA/LPN first, or volunteer at a hospital or hospice. Literally what is your excuse?

i need help, /biz/. do you have any advice or reading recommendations for me? I am basically a hermit with no motivation. I am a handyman with no specialty working a $22/hr job where I'm saving about 50% of what i bring home (despite not budgeting.) my house is paid off... i have absolutely no debt at all.

the only thing that ever motivated me was the fear of being homeless. i lived that way for about 6 months (by choice) and i'm not afraid of it anymore. fear was my only motivation and it is all gone now.

is it time for me to empty my accounts, give everything away and head innawoods looking for a hunting accident?
