Britbong here. What's the best coinbase alternative as they have shitty fees? BTC mainly but if ETH is there too then bonus.
Thank you

>every alt moons at the same time
Yes it's obvious that when btc goes up in $ alts go up in $ because their price is measured in and bought with sats. But today every alt simultaneously mooned IN sats, what is this? Even utter utter shitscamcoins. Feels bot-like

Anybody else trying to time this juicy dip? Not sure whether we're at alt bottom.

Most alts lost 20-25% yesterday and have pretty much stayed the same today, do we think now is the time to buy? Or is Grandpa BTC going to shit the bed again and present an even better buying opportunity?

Some coins on the market today aim to be nothing more than a store of value/way to transfer value trustlessly, quickly and cheaply. Bitcoin, Monero, NANO are some examples.

However, most of the coins on the market today are going to be used in various ways as a cost to use a blockchain for stuff like smart contracts, data tracking and other things.

I was thinking and the properties that make a BLOCKCHAIN useful for industry and other things are the same properties that would make them good digital currencies/stores of value.
Such as:
>Able to handle high number of transactions per second
>Each transaction is super cheap

I mean those are the only real 2 requirements for a coin to be considered a viable currency in the future, along with, obviously, decentralisation. Which happen to go hand in hand with being requirements for a blockchain to stand a chance of being used for other applications that may end up being adopted massively.

So the point stands, considering these utility coins have some intrinsic value beyond being currency/store of value, why would a pure currency coin with the same sort of performance (fee + tx/s wise) possibly be used in the future?

Logic follows that for something to be adopted as a currency it is preferred that it has some sort of intrinsic value.

Discuss.

What's the best source for reliable guides on how to set up a miner? Google yields tons of results that are either ancient or just links to MinerGate or some other bullshit.

You must be really fucking stupid if you think that cryptos are going to be used as actual currencies in the future. They're really good for making some quick big gains for the moment, but anyone investing heavy in this shit is an idiot.

Will cryptocurrency ever replace fiat in the physical space? Will we ever see cryptocurrency be used to pay for daily expenses?

I'm trying to start up my trading career but it's a real bitch to get onto an exchange when none of them support the local banks. I've been following crypto since 2009 so I know the works, there's just a physical barrier for entry and it fucking sucks.

Any advice?
