What Golem does, only less user and developer friendly. iExec say that they want to be able to use RLC to pay for a service but use any coin to pay for the gas, while Golem will use the token to pay for both the fee and the gas.

It's basically a new Netflix (Golem) vs Blockbuster (iExec) but with the internet (Ethereum/Web3.0) and Netflix actively being developed side by side for full integration and deployment.
