Why? Now before you call me a faggot, if you haven't figured it out yet "HODLing" Chainlink or any alt in this bear market is the dumbest shit you could possibly be doing. Everything is still sucked down by the gravitational pull of BTC & gets hammered twice as hard whenever it breaks support. This means in order to build a portfolio (something IDK if /biz/ or most people in crypto are familiar with) is nay fucking impossible without making 4 separate trades:
- Buy BTC
- Buy LINK
- Sell Link capital & leave profit in
- Sell BTC
The entire time you're in this 4 step trade you have to pray BTC doesn't shit the bed in the meantime which it could very well do to 1K sucking Link with it to a nickel or below when it could just be
- Buy Link
- Sell capital & leave profit it in
You never lose USD value and just win, you'd just win
