>Doesn't seem like that much from my experience. Sure, my dad spends a ton of time gardening, but that's his hobby. You get the occasional OH SHIT moment (water heater goes out, sump pump breaks, fridge breaks) but those are spaced pretty far out. Getting to have your own space to do anything with is for sure worth it. Plus you get to grill and grow your own vegetables. Once you start eating home grown vegetables you realize how horrid the "produce" at the stores are.
