I might consider holding some crypto in case of banking system shutting down / hyperinflation / authoritarian government clamping down, this would at max be $10 - 15k or 0.5 % of my networth. It's simply too volatile to save any larger amounts unless you're willing to risk it all.

Crypto just became a shittier version of tradfi in past years.
The gambling mentality and lack of interest in the founding ethos of crypto is gay af.
There still are real usecases for crypto.
Like when all fiat atms shut down in Ukraine or when countries like Venezuela and Turkey keep hyperinflating their currencies.
