i dont like spoonfeeding. i dont do it often. but you are retarded if you're not getting involved with crypto right now. let's just ignore fantom for right now. look at all the activity with bitcoin, ethereum, chainlink, and even absolute shitcoins like doge, xrp, and avax. the increasing volume isn't going to stop any time soon. the digital economy is only going to get bigger, and further integrated with presently existing financial systems. you're doing yourself a disservice by not at least buying some bitcoin to sit on.

now, here's why i think fantom is going to be an interesting project to hold and watch grow for some time to come. andre cronje has been working on it since summer of 2018. having actually used the native blockchain, Fantom Opera, to send funds, I can confirm it is as fast as they claim, and as cheap as they claim. unlike the avax bridge which has nightmarish fees, the presently existing fantom bridge's have a flat fee of 100 FTM in and out of wallet, and will be adjusted depending on price, and said fees will be non existent once the REN bridge is live. the defi platform being constructed is going to have SNX, AAVE, and UNI all within the fWallet, all multibillion dollar marketcaps on ETH already. imagine what those protocols are capable of once ETH is scalability is enhanced by projects like FTM, and even AVAX. their own vm is going to be live in ~3 years, and the foundation has funding for far longer than that. they're not going anywhere. andre cronje is involved with the team everyday per the foundation itself, regularly they say this in ama's. ftm will be utilized as a scalability solution and it's real world use cases are already being tested, albeit it's in afghanistan, but some think this pilot, if successful, will lead to broader adoption in the region and perhaps globally.
