Verge is a PnD coin with a scammy dev. There are no fundamentals, and it's highly unlikely that has changed.

Verge is just a clone of Bitcoin code with few modifications (muh tor! - basically just routing traffic through Orbot app). privacy coin with public ledger - makes no sense at all, but that was what they were riding on so far. wraith protocol is a meme for two months or so now. that is not enough time to implement all the touted new features.

I've seen the same several times before with Verge. Coordinated pump ("rumors") followed by a quick dump. Just make sure to get out quickly. As I said, the dev is scammy (fake github activity among other things) and likely in on things. I've been invested in XVG in my newbie times and have been active in their Telegram and Slack. Burned one time too often.
Certainly possible to make gains with it if you don't get greedy and just see it as what it really is.
