Craig Wright wanted to get out of a lawsuit filed by a lawyer named Kyle Roche. He hired a fixer named Ager-Hanssen(who was later rewarded with a CEO position) to get Roche blackout-drunk and secretly film him to try to either blackmail him or get him disbarred. The fixer sent the video to Crypto Leaks, which the fixer didn't actually realize was an ICP shill site run by Dom himself. Dom, at the time butthurt about Emin, had the video edited and spliced to spin it into a hit piece against AVAX.

So Craig Wright technically started the drama, it was just amplified by Dominic Williams pettiness and the credulity of ICP baggies. These are just the broad strokes, there is a ridiculous amount of information about all of this clusterfuck here:
