Obviously it's illegal to melt US coins but you could potentially melt them yourself, resell them, and cost the government 260 dollars plus production costs, get 60 dollars profit, or you could wait for fiat collapse / hyperinflation where they'll probably lift the ban on melting them and you can scrap them directly. Talk me out of going to the bank and buying nickels RIGHT NOW.
