I chose 5 stocks for my son who is in a program where he gets to choose stocks on someone else's dime for a couple of years and keep the gains. It started in Feb 21 and they are up just barely under 30%, with the lowest of the individual stocks being up over 17%. These are all S&P stocks. If we had full control I would have sold them all Friday after Thanksgiving and moved them into 6 month treasuries to wait out the impending crash. Some still grew since then, and some dipped a little, but that's what I would have done. Anything that happens between now and the program ending next year is essentially completely outside of my fault, but that's how it presently stands. That's 5/5 market beating picks.

I've just been running paper trade 0dte calls and puts up and down SPY and would have made about $310 so far today. Obviously that could have been a lot more, but I'm trying to keep it limited into the range I could almost actually afford to play (well under $1000 starting account).
