What if China exit scams? China, as a whole. All of it. What if China looks at global growth, sees that it isn't nearly what it was in the 2000s anymore, and comes to the perfectly rational decision to close their market again? They're far richer than they were when they joined. They'd be literally selling the top. It would devastate the American economy but China wants to look inwards for consumer markets anyways.

Oil will always be needed for certain petrochemicals like fertilizer and plastics, but the use as fuel is on it's way out on the ~40-60 year timescale. The bottom is a long way down still for oil.

USO is an ETF that holds WTI futures contracts, but research contango before investing

You don't have to take physical delivery if you play futures, you can roll them over, that's what WTI does and where contango comes from

It's not a big milestone for you big account rockers, but I'm on the verge of withdrawing the last of my deposits from my fun account and cruising entirely on profits. I'll reinvest the deposit in my boomer account and gamble risk free with my fun money from now on.
