What stocks should you buy / long in anticipation of Trump's reelection? As a Europoor my domestic stocks suck ass (plus I have to pay outrageous commissions and taxes for each purchase so I have to be very selective) and I feel like I'm too late for the tech rally - but I'm fairly confident Trump will win so which US stocks / sectors are likely to benefit most?
Prison REITs?
Defense?
Steel, Oil and Automakers?
Or something else?

Dividends can fuck you tax-wise. If you don't hold the stock for a total of 61 days surrounding the 121 days of the exdiv date, you have to declare it as regular income and pay income tax on it. If you do hold it for that period of time, it's a qualified dividend, and then you only pay about 15% on it. Also you have to DRIP (Dividend re-investment plan) to actually get real gains.
The solution is to use them in a tax-advantaged account such as a traditional or (((Roth))) 401(k)/IRA, especially if you can get them on the dip. Personally, a large part of my rIRA is in divvy stonks and fnilx.
