This may be confirmation bias but I've noticed the sweaty obese retard meme has been relatively inaccurate and most of 4chan is either boomers or normal looking 20 something plus dudes who live regular lives but happen to use 4chan, r9k really gave an overall bad image to the site, but even in 2014 r9k it was just edgy teens and the odd genetic dead end, 4chan probably looks better than most people think
