Bitcoin maxies think like orangutans. Proof-of-work is absolute shit and inefficient. Proof-of-stake is more efficient and can address various vulnerabilities in a POW network, and prevent concentration of power in the network (You DO realize China controls like 80% of Bitcoins right? Oh Anon... please).
Consensus algorithms can scale to magnitudes higher than either POW or POS, but if you can't understand the basics of POW/POS, you won't be able to wrap your puny mind around the mathematics involved in consensus algorithms. That's ok, I don't expect dumbass boomers or dead beat dropout millennials to understand. Bitcoin's transaction speed and fees make it impractical for most purchases and use cases. Other coins can allow people to actually fucking buy things with their money, almost instantly and with fees being almost non-existent. XRP for example charges what, 0.00001 xrp for a transfer that takes 2 seconds? I mean Jesus Anon, you are really fucking dumb. Try reading some whitepapers.
