one of my university professors likes the idea over the long term, hates it now , but he has a doctorate in steel making, so its kind of a close issue for his work
but china has already said that they will decrease steel production by 20% by 2020, so prices were expected to rise anyways

on a consumer side no changes with groceries, computer memory and graphics cards are still expensive, but thats a unique market, theres been a shortage for like +3 years now
