I believe so.
Likely it's Ripple labs marketing department or some lowly hedge fund that has observed what /biz/ did with LINK.

Now they are Astroturfing XRP and trying to meme together some broad grass roots support base. I mean Ripple labs has plenty of resources and likely identified this as an area they were lacking as opposed to support from corporates and banks where they were doing well. To try this doesn't cost much and all their other marketing tracks are not much influenced.

XRP to me has always been the Anti-Cryptocurrency. For Satoshi's vision to live XRP MUST fail. If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

You have some skill. But I think you could be wrong on Gold since it is increasingly uncertain what fractal dimension we are in. Could be just part of a much larger inflation and fiat-weakness driven fractal.
Same applies to silver.

OVERALL I like the BTC analysis very much and it reflects my thoughts too.
