Here's a practical business related post.
In order to acquire as much crypto as I possibly can, I'm going to start selling HARDCORE 8K DICK PICS (don't steal my business idea, fren) online.
What is the best way for a business to accept crypto online? Are there any special legal hurdles to keep in mind other than making sure to give the criminal US government their protection money?
Here's a few methods of accepting payments I came up with.
> Coinbase Commerce
https://commerce.coinbase.com/?lang=en
This seems solid and has an integration for Shopify/Woocommerce already, not that I love those options, and apparently no fees.
> Just Posting a payment address for a few popular currency types, telling customers to send payment there, and either having them email me telling me they paid or having some form indicating they paid
It's a bit slow, error prone, cumbersome, and unprofessional looking. Not to mention a pain in the ass to assign a unique address for each customer or having customers being able to publicly look at how many purchases have been made. And the transfer time/fees would be a pain. It avoids any problems with middleman though which is good.
> Setup a Bitcoin node online and run things yourself.
I'm sure I can run a Bitcoin node, setup an API to generate a wallet address for each customer, verify receipt programmatically, and process an order for SUPER HIGH RESOLUTION DICK PICS, but it's a hassle, a bit resource intensive, always has potential security issues, as well as makes it harder to accept multiple payment types because you have to run a node to set them up. But it is theoretically possible of course.
> Use a different 3rd party service.
I've seen references to PumaPay and other services but I know shitall about them. Any reputable 3rd party payment widgets that you can add via JavaScript?
> Are there any other ways to easily accept payments or best practices to consider?
