Thanks frogbro, the shilling has been off the charts lately. Mysteriously it started when Eggfag ASEsperg stopped posting about imminent 200% premiums and what a great buy $46 ASEs are, if they're not the same 'tard I'd love to see him come back and get into a 100 PBTID pissing match with the resident shill, if anyone is doggedly autistic enough to short-circuit that bot it's Eggfag.

Looks like a magnificent platter fren, hilarious story too thanks for typing it out. Sounds like chances aren't great the boomerfaggot seller will deliver but I'll pray to the scrapgods for you. Got back from the goodwill and there was no more gold, but while chatting with the young lady cashier she told me about a nearby locality I hadn't heard of before with lovely marine and leaf fossils, I'm excited to go rockhounding there soon. I did grab a 10.5g sterling lid and 12 sterling and glass earrings for $6.36 total but that doesn't amount to shit compared to a based 1kg pre-revolutionary platter.

Thanks guys, for silver I use an electric furnace and borax but for pewter I too have just used a propane burner and melted in a stainless cooking pot. At first I made the mistake of stirring the batch and skimming dross with an old silverplated tablespoon, only a bit too late did I realize that the pewter was dissolving the spoon lmao. Makes sense in retrospect that it would eat up the copper alloy base metal spoon but I didn't expect it at such a low temp of only 450-500 Fahrenheit. I'll experiment but as I understand borax doesn't melt at such low temps, hopefully it would still draw out impurities and dirt in the pewter though.
