Energy and Precious Metal stocks are good for long-term swing trading.

Consumer Staples barely move. If you want a generally safe sector that slowly moves upwards over time with relatively little downside risk, buy Utilities.

Industrials are great growers, so I don't know where you got the idea that manufacturing doesn't grow.

Tech is purely a momentum trade. If you think the S&P 500 is going to keep growing, you might as well just buy a large-growth tech fund and outperform the S&P 500 by double. Just remember if the S&P 500 dumps, your tech fund is going to dump just as hard, or harder.

Crypto is purely for short to medium-term gambling.

Healthcare grows similar to Utilities. Slow, but safe and steady.

If you want low risk, but still want to own stocks with minimum management, just get a Healthcare, or Utilities fund.
