Economic studies from juniors are generally optimistic as it's important for them to pump the project, especially PEAs as they aren't as precise. But it varies from company to company of course. Adding 20% cost to a PEA probably makes it more realistic, and then there's inflation for every year after it's published. You also start to get a rough feel for the different figures if you look at a lot of different economic studies. Key figures like $/t mined and processed. If it's oxide it's a bit cheaper than sulphide, bigger means cheaper, scale really means a lot. And capex figures.
