In the quest for antique 100+ year old bottles in garbage dumps I collect big rocks and logs to divert the flow of streams to "dig" for me into the banks and wash away overburden or tailings from active digging. Makes a gigantic glorious mess but is lots of fun and also washes and reveals coins and sterling silverware that was accidentally thrown away. Heavies settle nearby while millions of shards get blasted downstream, greenies get fugged lel.

>Tokens are cool because people just threw them in the trash, unlike money. So they're pretty easy to locate.

What, do you dig and sift old bottle/ash dumps or privy pits for tokens? I've found some digging dumps but never found any Colorado ones yet.

>Always surprised at how much people will pay for antique bottles, same with advertising signs.

No joke fren, at uni I dug up a bottle that I sold for $1,250, also sold a Minneapolis Moline tractor sign I found for $1,100. Some of the best old American bottles are worth 6 figures, I wouldnt hold my breath for something like that but it's always worth checking out holes and dirt piles in old parts of town as worthwhile 2 and 3-figure bottles are much easier to find.
