Not a fucking larp. I was in on a private meeting tonight where I overheard a massive new partnership discussion.

That's all I'm willing to say. But it's nothing at all what you'd think, but it is HUGE. Marketing is going to be insane when this releases. Screenshot this.

You heard it here first.

Stock the fuck up on LINK. I am selling off some of my other coins tonight after what I heard.

Good luck, fellow STINKY LINKIES. Our salvation is near!

Ok so Sberbank just started issuing bonds using blockchain. They used hyperledger which does not have an oracle but its already speculated they will use Chainlink. What is more interesting is SmartContract has an ongoing POC with Swift for bond payments. Now take a look at this...

http://www.smartstream-stp.com/~/media/Files/www/NewsEvents/InThePress/2017/2017-10-18_Daily-News-at-Sibos.pdf

The same bank that just issued the bonds, Sberbank, has a memorandum of co-operation with none other than SWIFT for dlt. Yes Swift, the one SmartContract created a BOND payment product for! This all can't be a coincidence.

We already know Jonathan Levi is in chainlink slack and congratulated team for testnet..(the testnet that was needed by May 4th deadline...why? I have reason to believe it has to do with consensus, some company needed its functionality for demo.

In 2017 Sergey and Jonathan were on a panel about Smart Contracts as you can see here.

Ok he said something like pay attention over the next 2 weeks as somethings will be announced using Chainlink. He is also the larp that said Chainlink will be a hyperledger feature.

Check this tweet just now from Hyperledger - https://twitter.com/Hyperledger/status/993667300204171265

"Catalyst integrates existing customer environments with blockchain solutions, including solutions leveraging the IBM Blockchain Platform and Oracle Blockchain Cloud Services. According to IntellectEU, the Catalyst platform, built for the financial services industry and compliant with ISO 20022 standards, is able to provide interoperability across different business units and organizations in a multi-standard world."

MY GOD, I THINK IT'S STARTING

Albert Böhm (albertboehm@hotmail.de);
Lately I’ve been pondering about the fact whether the initial, entirely on-chain version of ChainLink will be both profitable (in any significant way) for node operators as well as worth the additional cost to customers of the ChainLink network. My concern boils down to the fact that bidding, replying and aggregating (done via SCs) all require non insignificant amounts of Gas. Especially when using a large number of nodes for your input request, this cost can quickly add up to uncompetitive levels when compared to centralized oracle services, potentially eliminating the advantage of a decentralized oracle network.

As a result, I’ve been wondering whether there is any use cases where ChainLink could provide advantages even when measured solely by resulting cost to the customer.

One such niche could be degrees of decentralization (and, thus, security) when executing smart contracts. Suppose you deploy a SC to the blockchain but instead of letting the entire network (very high security, high redundancy of computation) execute the contract, you let 100 (1k/10k, etc.) nodes on the ChainLink network fetch the contract code, execute it locally and report the results of the computation to the oracle contract. Proof of computation could be incorporated by hashing the resulting system state after executing the contract. This could dramatically decrease execution cost (usually measured as gas) by reducing the number of participants to an arbitrary number chosen by the customer.

As a result, you are not restricted to a one-fits-all solution of the security/cost tradeoff, but may now choose level of security according to your needs.

Let me know what you think.

>Be Sergey at business meeting giving pitch

... so that's why if you are running a blockchain function that requires external information, you need an oracle service.

CEO: ok, and you provide such a service?

Sergey: Yes, through decentralized nodes.

CEO: ok great, and you ensure the accuracy of the off chain data?

Sergey: ...no.

CEO: wtf? So what happens if we get incorrect data?

Sergey: the node operator loses LINK tokens.

CEO: Who is the node operator? What the hell are LINK tokens? Barbara, get me Oraclize on the phone.

Oraclize: Hello?

CEO: Do you provide blockchain oracles?

Oraclize: Yes, proprietary ones specific to your needs.

CEO: Do you ensure accurate off chain data?

Oraclize: Yes.

CEO: Great, book it. Sergey, you and your LINK tokens gtfo.

>this kills the linky

What will be the next meme coin to teach newfags a harsh lesson in how crypto works for the upcoming bull run?
Last year it was Verticoin, we watched them get justed and then learn, only to make great profits in the winter bull.

This January it was Chainlink, many newfaggots fell for this meme coin and by the time we turn bull again will have learned very harsh and costly lessons of crypto and what you buy and how to trade it.

Next year i'm betting it will be STORM, but maybe the coin havsn't been invented yet. will be looking forward to the noob trap lols we witnessed this quarter all over again.

Hello fellow bizraelis.

I've done some more digging regarding the Shared Factory DAO model. Here's what I've found.

The SFDAO is being developed as a solution by the company 'Genesis Of Things' (http://www.genesisofthings.com/).). Look at their website to find some details about a case study for printing Airline Spare Parts. Interesting to note is that their smart contract ideas seem to be at least partially (if not heavily) inspired by the works of Klaus Schwab, our boy at the WEF who has been shilling CL in his book. This is documented by his appearance in the reference section of the GOT whitepaper (where he appears not once, but twice!). Find the whitepaper here http://www.genesisofthings.com/pdf/whitepaper.pdf (I think somebody posted it yesterday).

Please also note that Dr. Carsten Stöcker, 'the Machine Economy Innovation Lighthouse Lead at innogy SE, and a co-founder of "Genesis of Things" ', "is a Council Member of
Global Future Network for the World Economic Forum " (quotes from whitepaper).

If you read the GOT FAQ section they specifically talk about the non-automated parts of their smart contract solution, which to me suggests that a automatic data feed to the SCs will be necessary. Doesn't mean they are using Link, of course.

GOT is planning on using the 3YourMind API (https://www.3yourmind.com/api)) to match orders for their 3D Printing service. A technical specification of the API can be found here https://developers.3yourmind.com/?hsCtaTracking=b84b3e29-878f-40b9-b422-557cde39a1a4%7C843db464-e2e4-40a4-9b7d-377548433274#uploads .

Customers of 3YourMind include the Deutsche Bahn AG, DB Schenker, EOS (non crypto), ContiTech Schlauch GmbH, and Siemens. They raised $12M in funding in November of last year.

Maybe some of you will find additional details to all this. Have a good day guys, take care.
