I’ve noticed a lot of new posters in the last 48hr asking about Chainlink and just wanted to warn you. Chainlink is shilled HEAVILY here and it’s very hard to understand so this background is crucial to ensure you stay safe.

Basically, a bunch of 4channers tried to force it as /ourcoin/, during the presale ico phase of chainlink there was a minimum requirement of 300eth to enter the presale.

Coin continued to get shilled and pumped up and hyped for the sibios event that link was attended, whole event turned out to be a flop chainlink had a presentation in a room of like 18 people, literally no news or partnership came from the event and the coin dumped back to below ico prices and created 1000's of bagholder anons.

Now during this alt bull run lots of anons and took advantage of this and shilling this coin to all the new money and newfags that joined in december and don't know this story.
The coin is HEAVILY manipulated and the supply is dried up from huge whales who accumulated below ICO price to create a artificially lower supply (a lot like REQ) and these people have so much room to dump on all of you.

In regards to actual project that chainlink aiming to achieve it's nothing more than a basic json parser for smart contracts, would take like a day to add to ethereum by itself.. literally making links whole concept pointless and definitely no need for a token. Would take a lot longer to get it working with bitcoin but the bitcoin core devs would be able to work out the solution a lot quicker than chainlink will, think that's something worth noting that literally nothing is completed and you're literally just buying a whitepaper, they have only 2 developers and they don't communicate at all with no proven background on either, in fact sergey was involved in a project before chainlink called NxT that he since been abandoned until it was took over by a new developer team.

ETH is such a piece of shit. Thought we'd see $170 at least with this issuance reduction and it doesn't look like that's happening. Of course I sold my trading stack of LINK thinking ETH would actually go up. Now I'm sitting here like a retard looking at 0.0034 when I sold at 0.0025. I can tell some of you fags are FOMOing in after it's not retracing to 0.028 (about 10k SATs)

Fucking ETH you piece of shit.

I’m embarrassed to say this...but I’m starting to get very mild doubts about Chainlink reaching $1000 per token in 3 days. Is this normal???? How to be more confident??

You guys are so dumb, LINK isn’t even mooning!

What’s happening is that the Chainlink team is using their oracles to manipulate the price of LINK at exchanges by decentrally accessing and controlling these API sources. I have a hardline to Binance where LINK is currently trading at $0.13, but what you see is the manipulated price!!!!!!!!!

You shillers caused too many people to hold a LINK suicide prevention stack. The reality is that many people on biz do actually hold LINK. Most of these people will not be coding and deploying smart contracts so they'll end up selling their stacks througout the next bullrun, suppressing the price enormously. There will be no moon. In fact, institutional money won't even buy into LINK until most of you sell your stacks. You might as well wait for Bitcoin to hit 50K and crash back down to 5K to buy LINK.

The inherent value of LINK is immensely limited by its outdated payment system that operates on the Ethereum blockchain using the LINK ERC20 token. No reasonable person will want to participate in a network that does late payments and has large fees for its transactions. The cryptokitty game exposed the flaws of the Ethereum network. How can a project that seeks worldwide adoption possibly operate on a network that can't even handle people sending virtual cats to one another for fun? The answer is that it can't. No platform currently exists that can handle what LINK wants to do. It'll forever remain an experimental piece of technology until an infrastructure is developed for it. This may be years in the future, up to even a decade. Its like trying to invest in social media, before the world wide web was even born.

Also "muh LINK is blockchain agnostic" means that it can do CONTRACT payments in a different currency, but node operators will still be getting payed in ERC20 LINK tokens on the Ethereum network.

This seems like another privacy option. Sergey is always talking about "depth of defense".

How can Chainlink utilize this? Of course it's directly usable with erc20 tokens, which LINK is not.

Let me teach you some american history euro cucks.

Back when the states were 13 colonies in the 1700s, the only way we were able to defeat the britbongs was by forming america. The founding fathers knew without EVERY SINGLE colony working together to take on britain, we would have lost. Hence why it said you have to join america or we will all die.

So /biz/, im calling on every single /biz/raelli here to go all in on chainlink. We need everyone on the website to to concentrate just on one coin; not spread out the money between others.

Because, its better that LINK makes it, instead of no one making it.
