Basically coins are either for stacking or for collecting. Nobody makes any serious traditional "money" .900 silver coinage in significant quantity, maybe because they don't want to step on central banking toes. The closest equivalent to silver "money" I can think of are these (but they're not minted in large enough quantity, so they're really just collector items):

I thought about buying some, but for the silver content it's like 39 euros/oz (and the bigger 100 euro coins have much higher premiums). Better to buy some cheap old junk silver for half the cost.

That's what copper/silver alloy junk is for. It resists scratches and tarnish better.
