Look I don't think anyone is arguing with you that IF Windows never existed Linux would be king (or more likely macOS since that is based on *nix). But what is the point of playing the what-if games? IF the VHS system was never invented then Betamax would have been king. Okay, maybe an interesting thought experiment, but nothing more. But in the real world VHS *was* invented. Windows *was* invented. And *at the time*, Windows 95 completely and utterly blew Linux out of the fucking water with usability. That, along with aggressive marketing, cemented it as the OS of choice for decades to come.

So if I have some futures currently won’t the stock price go up slightly since people’s amount they own is gonna be cut in half?
Like will my 100x futures still be worth 100 shares? Or be split to 50?

It's so funny to me that people want the Government to lock us all up indoors and never come outside again until... none of these people agree on when's a good time to end the lockdown.

Their minds have been so corrupted and scared shitless by this threat of a virus that they're begging the Government to lock them up inside and throw away the key.

I remember 2 months ago people were posting pictures of the Chinese barricading their own people indoors and putting metal bars over the doors, now some Americans (let's face it, mostly Democrats) are begging our Government to do the same.

But let's go one step further, it's actually more sinister than that: They want YOU to be barricaded and not let out. They want YOU to not be able to go to the grocery store. They want YOU to not be able to work, to go for a hike, to go outside, to go downtown, etc.

It's never their fault. That's how these people think. Nothing is ever their fault, they're always blaming some non-existent "other" - DRUMPF! MAGA SUPPORTERS! etc. etc. These people can't be reasoned with. People are going to start violating the "lockdowns" and "quarantines" whether they like it or not. And that's a good thing.

>actually used LINK as a functional currency
>essentially 'sold' LINK at ~$2.20
>all the people in this thread talking about how you'll regret it

this is a huge argument against ERC-20 tokens. To be fair I don't think one of LINK's intended uses was to ever be a "currency." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought LINK is supposed to be used as collateral for accurate/truthful oracles and contracts. That's why I believe there's a good argument that a token like LINK is a security rather than a currency.

On the other hand, an ERC-20 token like BAT is intended to be more akin to an actual currency (earned through the browser, spent on the browser) and thus less of a security. However the same argument this thread teaches us applies; people won't want to spend it because "it could go up in value" and then they'd theoretically be losing value in the long run by spending it.

I ordered them last night.
23$ an oz.
Most I’ve paid per oz on any coin so far.
Hopefully I didn’t fuck up too bad.

Guys I can't take it anymore & am rethinking my entire cashout plan.
>be me
>europoor antisocial neet
>180k link @ 0.45c
>need 150k€ urgent to sort immediate situation (pay debts & other costs
>need further 600k€ asap to gtfo out of current country (buy apartment in better city + money to support start in new place + tax etc) - urgent as current situation is affecting mental health

Original plan
>8k link @ €25 = 200k€ (c.150k€ after tax)
>22k link @ €36 = 800k€ (c.600k€ after tax)
>let 150k link ride till minimum link @ 250€ (=37,500,000€ = fuck you money)

But waiting is killing me, live neet life, no gf, no friends, suffer from depression & anxiety daily. Now thinking sell 80-90k link @ €10. But scared I'll seriously regret selling so early like all the BTC & eth anons. But life starting to pass me by in big way, what do?

as a massive poorfag, i just cant stop it, sums such as $5,000, $10,000, $20,000 would significantly change my life, yet even those pale into nothing when you read some of the bullshit online about x government spending millions on this, y corporation spending millions on that, z celebrity spending millions on this other thing etc.
i can see from my last 12 months of trading shitcoins that my decision making is better when theres less pressure on what im doing, it goes without saying that having a little freedom to be more aggressive will change results but for me is only been positive.
