It occurred to me that of course Dom wouldn't mention the project, because that's what shitcoins do. Real enterprises typically aren't going to talk about the specific tech they use in a product / company pitch like this.

I bet they're using it but they're probably using a bunch of tools they don't mention, like docker or some shit.

Nobody is going to mention grpc or protocol buffers or whatever, either.

Of course polkadot, open Zeppelin etc will mention the cube project. It's technically relevant.

And shitcoin projects like wanchain either need the hype boost from another "partnership" or just have come to see these announcements as normal and expected in the shitcoin industry.

But real companies that you and your friends have heard of aren't going to say they have "partnered" with Google or "partnered" with protocol buffers. They'll just tell you they're building a product because that's what matters, and let their neckbeard wageslave developers pick the tools for the job, with some communication with vendors and technical product sellers that might offer them something (typically at a high price- so imagine what a great deal Cube is considering it's open source) deliver faster or cheaper than if they built everything themselves.

I suspect the cube project is going to be the blockchain equivalent of protocol buffers. But maybe even be more widely adopted, due to first mover advantage.

If you don't know what protocol buffees are, great. You don't need to. Just a widely used way for computer programs to communicate.

Dom steil is not going to give his pitch and follow up with "btw, we use protocol buffers for this shit". You shouldn't expect him to mention the cube project either. Especially if it means fewer potential competitors will really understand what they are building.
