If you're in the EU, this is the last cheapies before new VAT takes effect.
I'm only mentioning this for the benefit of others who might not be aware. I don't really care about their new VAT, because I already bought over 3000 1 oz coins (plus kilo and 5 kilo pieces), and plenty of gold below 1800 euro/oz. Now I'm only interested in slurping cheap junk silver, and those aren't really dependent on spot price but just the result of hunting for good deals.

1 kg ark (the coin on the left) for 765 euros.
I already have 4 of them, and also 4 of the 5 kg coins.
I thought about taking them out of the boxes, but I'm not sure it'll help any. I can't find any information online about those capsule dimensions.

Does this really work? xD

> nor do i buy Philharmoniker,
Those are overall the best coin to buy in Europe. They're very cheap and have excellent resale value. I don't care at all about the "security features" they added on britannias and maples, because .999 silver coins are trivial to verify. It's not like we're talking about numismatics that have intricate fakes, including ones made of the same metal composition.
But last year I bought 600 britannias because they were cheaper than wieners. But I also bought some wieners too, and more this year because the britannias went up in price (probably due to the queen/king stuff). I bought only one britannia this year: an old one from 2017 with the trident privy mark (20th anniversary). Yeah, so it's just a collector item.
But when I can get them cheap, I buy noah's arks. I have many of these, around 1375 ozt of them (some are kilo pieces). Prices are very good and helped to keep the average of all my coins well below 24 euros/oz. I also like the design of the coin (both sides are nice!) and the theme as well. The story of the flood that exists in all ancient cultures around the same time. We have another flood today, but it's not water., it's a flood of debt. But the concept remains the same: if you prepare, you'll weather the storm.

They're legit, and I've ordered a lot from them over the past year. They can be slow sometimes, especially if you paid by check. Last year I ordered some stuff that took about a month to ship.

It's not big at all, mate. Just around 40 cm^3, and it's almost full at this point. The situation would be better had I not bought 4 of these 5-kilo noah's ark coins. Their packaging takes up almost as much space as a monster box of 500 coins, but they're only equivalent to 160.77 oz each. Yeah, I should probably have only bought one of them. But then where's the fun in that? Each ark represents a counter to the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, and there are also 4 guardian heroes who one day will come together to unseal these boxes, if they are called upon. Or something like that anyway. Plus, they were really cheap, like between 23-24 euros/oz.
Oh and of course there's also 4 1-kilo arks to go with them.

Big coins take up a lot of space. I don't have room for more big coins.

I bought these ARKS so I can bail out when the deluge of debt starts raining down.

I don't even have any old junk silver yet. I've been stacking mostly wieners, britannias, and noah's arks. I plan to get some old silver eventually, but it's not a big priority. I want to stack as much cheap .999 as possible while the stacking is good.

I don't have any of their goldies, but if we get another dip, I might get another monster box of the silver coins. Already bought one monster box of arks last year, and some 1-kilo and 5-kilo coins. Unfortunately these take up a lot of space (the boxes).

>there's no real rush
I think there is, and that's why I dumped 90% of my savings into PMs this year, while silver prices were low. Now they're already going back up.
It would have been a lot more fun to do this slowly over decades, but the world is rapidly changing. Just in the past couple years alone they printed more money than all the previous 100 years. We're in the final stages of this fake-out game where the Fed pretends to fight inflation, but they're more like a pilot who has lost control of his aircraft.
And none of my silver is for sale, unless I have to in order to survive. Some of it takes up a lot of room too, especially the 5-kilo coins. But they're not for sale! If anything they will be family gifts for special occasions.

My 5-kilo ark boxes are still sealed from the mint, yep all four of them. I did open the monster box though.

What's wrong with bars? Anyway I just have one coin-bar, the rest are 1 kg and 5 kg coins, and of course many (over 1750) 1-oz coins.
The only problem with some of these big coins is the boxes take up lots of space. Not shown in this (old) pic, I added a monster box of arks under the stack and that box is only 1 cm taller than the 5 kg box, but it holds 500 oz rather than only 160.
I also have 2 more monster boxes to fit in here. One will fit as-is, the other one I'll have to remove the tubes and cram them in around or on top the other stuff.

No they didn't ask me for ID, but I started buying slowly, just a tube of silver coins at first. Anyway it doesn't much matter, the bank has my ID so there's a paper trail. It's not like you can pay in cash anonymously like in the US.

Sure, I understand the idea of buying silver, but I already bought over 2500 oz, and I still need to fit 3 monster boxes and a handful of kilo pieces in this small safe, and that's barely going to fit. So I switched to buying gold. I want to get the best possible price, but don't want to wait too long if there's a shortage like silver.

The arks are minted by Leipzig (LEV mark on the coins), but same concerns. The dealer I've been ordering from has them on a 2-month pre-order. Better hurry up if you want them, who knows what's going to happen this winter.
