I find comfort in the fact that they are scraping the bottom of barrel for revenue raising and moreso hilarious that they would stoop to this depth to go on another day like it matters in the macroscale of things with Debit Swisse about to default, bringing down the CCA and literally the whole Eurozone anyway, not even mentioning the state of the global peg or Japan. The only real safe harbors economically are Chynah and Australia. Or fleeing to Russia on a private jet and bribing your way out of conscription if they go full forward march to take the Eurozone for themselves post-collapse.

The alternative is to forget bidding on castles as you'd be able to buy a whole nation-state's worth of bank-hoarded defaulted land and assets post-MOASS in exchange for GME shares and become your own [INSERT SELF-APPOINTED TITLE HERE]. The downside is you would have to compete in macropolitics as a newly formed state against neighboring nano-states, hoping that defactors from established nations that fail side with you instead of attemping to ransack your gains Africa-style and ghadaffing you in most places of the world while trying to become established. Usual risks of that game though.
