Not a single paper have suggested marriage is a direct causation to increased life expectancy. In fact, most of the papers agree on something: the more likely reason for the increase on health quality is because by begin around another person made that one partners plays a care/control role in the relationship, so the other partner is more likely to watch his/her own behaviour and keep healthy. Do you remember that scene with JJ Jameson on the spiderman films when his secretary is remembering him to take his pills to control his bloody pressure? ("Not that one... bzzzz... don't forget the water") Yeah, married people tend to have a dynamic where one guy with poor health behaviours is being watched by another person who's worried about him/her. Usually, not always, is the female who plays the one who watches the health, hence is usually the male who benefits the more from this dynamic.

Also, it have been found that single people is more likely to engage in non-healthy behaviours, like drinking too much, drugs, and such, which eventually takes a toll on the body. Just think about it, how often do you heard "what's the point on being single if you don't party hard every day?". Mind you, this thread is promoting to remain single so you can have more sex with hookers, sky rocketing the chances to catch a STD disease so high, you literally become non-eligible to donate blood. Fucking hookers is as bad for your health as having serious permanent diseases like hepatitis or AIDS.

Really, guys, from a health scientific perspective, remaining single and fucking hookers is one of the most idiotic suggestions I ever heard. There's no price on your health, so even from an economics perspective, is frankly stupid.
