If you are talking about waste gas, produced as a byproduct of oil production billions of cubic meters are flared every month. Years ago when bitcoin was taking off someone fitted bitcoin mining rigs inside shipping containers with AC and brought them to some oil field and paired them with either ICE or turbine generators. The problem with the gas is the btu content can vary significantly as does the volume and pressure, but with enough wells you can meter it out. Some of the gas is too rich and is pumped back down if not flared.
