Naw, I started DCAing into mutual funds in '97. I DCA' d through 2002, writing checks that equaled my losses each month. I blindly ignored '08-'09 DCAing along the way. I dropped as much cash as I had in on Christmas Eve '18. But as for the 70's, I wasn't there for stagflation, my time horizon allows for another decade of DCAing before I need the market to perform like it did in the oughts and teens. Currently dumping 40% of my gross into investments.
