Because Chainlink is a utility token, it provides a service to customers willing to pay. It is important to show that there are customers willing to pay for this service, it isn't an inflation ponzi, see picrel, how new are you? You should read on bitcoin but it is absolutely not the same principle, it is a store of value providing the qualities needed for a store of value, people buy it for this, miners it is true are incentivised by inflation which arguably could lead to issues when inflation stops (it is halved at each halving) anyway Im not here to teach you all the basics just do some reading
