China will pick ONE crypto in each area of use value to win, and that'll be that. Ven has real anti-counterfeiting potential. The Chinese central government decentralized much of its tax base in the 1980s, so it desperately needs to ensure that it can get every tax it can possibly get its hands on (alcohol, import taxes).

The first coin to demonstrate real use value to a government without threatening its power in any way is going to the fucking moon.
