>The QCs they have in laboratories now are not TRULY quantum. They simulate pseudo-quantum processes but decohere when reading and writing to the memory.
also they use "pseudo" atoms that act as qubits. The "pseudo" atoms in reality are comprised of hundreds of actual atoms and are constructed in such a way as to simulate an atom, however it can hardly be considered truly quantum. More like a proof of concept more than anything else.

we have some cash sitting on the sides waiting to see how this plays out
more importantly, there's other things coming in the pipeline
you marines will be proud of what 42 is going to be doing

anybody have a chance to review the newest paper by the Cornell and IC3 team?
https://eprint.iacr.org/2020/269.pdf

consensus algorithms are fascinating to me due to their quantum-like nature

>Lol at that terrible shop job, I can literally see the attempted balance and blend artifacts.

This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the black pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe.
You take the “42-pill” - you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
Remember: all I’m offering is the Truth. Nothing more.

>wake up...
>follow the white rabbit...
Then a week before the oracle announcement a riddle comes in:
>>/biz/thread/14226491
The answer comes back a week later (days before the even bigger coinbase/oracle pump)

>Is the time distributed consensus is the basis for what you are calling quantum computing?
time is one variable
the method by which proof of work miners come to a consensus on what is the true block is a direct parallel with the way in which a superposition of potential quantum states collapses (decoheres) when an observer operates on the quantum superposition by interacting and measuring it in some way

>>17014742
>Wouldn't atomic clocks predate this by a longshot?
atomic clocks track time via radioactive (nuclear) dynamics, which have quantum features in and of themselves

>>17014742
>There's no way for them to solve qbit algorithms
they're coming to a probabilistic consensus via a globally distributed computing grid comprised of nodes and the features of DLTs', namely immutability and encryption, are what the aims of quantum computers are (cryptography being the biggest application)

>>17014742
>What do you mean by 'understand what's happening'?
I'm referring to the fact that cryptocurrency is the sequel to the manhattan project in the sense that they mislead the public by labelling it "cryptocurrency" instead of the actual technical term of "quantum network/computer" which is what ethereum already is

What I'm saying is that this whole thing is a government/military project and MMORPG games were the first roll out of these kinds of tests/trials
I'm not joking. Steve Bannon was running Chinese gold mining farms in the early days of WoW.

All of those games, especially WoW, were used as data mining and statistics goldmines where entire treasure troves of human/social models could be simulated and played out in real time and then applied later in real life.

Don't believe me?
Imagine this scenario:
>We have a new "quest" for you
>Take your GF to the movie theatre and watch a movie
>Bonus side quest: buy popcorn, drinks, and candy
>Win social credit score points and be awarded for being a model citizen
don't go out or be anti-social and they punish you
