They only have three software engineers, 10 employees total (11 if you count "community manager" as a real career). The rest of the "employees" are "advisors"; people that were likely paid a small sum to use their likeness and credentials on the project's website without contributing anything tangible to it.

this right here is what I was wondering about. decentralised order books would mean that every order has to be on the blockchain. etherdelta doesn't work that way. wouldn't be feasible... even having them on more than one server at a time would be super risky
