I wonder how the defiant "Appropriate Interest Bearing Instruments" Zimbabwe is doing now that it has been a year since the introduction of the gold Tunya.

I'm now wondering how many countries have precious metal mints in the world.

PMG are not only bullion stackers but also numismatic stackers. Some anon here brought a Tunya. It's still an ounce of gold and probably spent a hefty premium to get it, but he did it anyway because it's a numismatic.

A gorgeous gold coin, I want one just as much as the Rhodesia gold coins that have been posted here recently.

I dunno. I only have one pure gold coin and want a collection of 1oz numismatics to go with it. Right now I think a Zimbabwe Tunya would be at the top of the list. It has a very nice design and makes appropriate interest bearing instrument parasites like the IMF seethe.

Some might be tasteful, but unless it's a coin of truly collectable quality, which you don't seem to be describing, I'd recommend collecting based on what looks nice and has as little premiums as possible.
... unless it's something you really really want for some reason, like e.g. demonstrating the value of paper if a government fucks up.
