well, think about it as if you actually had generated what you think is a good idea.
the vast majority of people will say to themselves, "i have no market confirmation of this idea yet, i'd better not go reveal it, i might be made to look like a fool if its a bad trade"
in great part this is because they lack conviction, and often they lack conviction because they subconsciously recognize their idea generation is garbage. they themselves picked it up from something mainstream.
if your idea generation is good, and you do your homework, you don't care about one bad trade.
