Now can we get to the real issue: my ID is, to me at least, aesthetic as fuck. The color sucks, but the type lines up in an oh-so-pleasing manner.

I inherited a small family silver stash that's been in the family for three generations, all coinage 1870s to 1930s. Not a huge amount, but it's interesting to think that if they had saved the face value in fiat instead of silver it would only be about $110 bucks. Glad life has been kind enough to my family for so long it never got liquidated out of need or greed. Started stacking current year eagles to add to it, hopefully it will bring a little pleasure to someone 100 years down the line as well.
